About the Canoe King

We at Tumba Gymnasium have worked with Kanotkungen and Johan for many years and we always come back with new bookings. Johan and his colleagues who have been with us on our outdoor days for many years now have been absolutely awesome. Many students paddle for the first time and during the hours we are out on the water with each class, they get a holistic experience of being out on a trip with professional guides. Everything feels very safe and cozy and Johan and co are good role models for our sometimes anxious students. They convey knowledge about paddling, safety and create security in the groups. They let everyone try at their own pace, but they almost always manage to get everyone on a trip where most of the teaching takes place on the water and where they are skilled at keeping the groups together and creating great memories of canoeing and outdoor life that the students usually talk about long after.
