WHEN CAN I CONTACT CANOE KING ABOUT KAYAKING?

You can contact us during the daytime on +46 (0)73 181 41 38! We can help with everything from questions about other requests in addition to the packages and paddling trips for families with children. You can also fill in the contact form on our contact page here: Contact us.

DO YOU NEED A LIFE JACKET WHEN KAYAKING OR CANOEING?

Yes, safety first! We provide life jackets from 3 - 70 kg plus.

DO YOU HAVE LIFE JACKETS TO BORROW WHEN KAYAKING WITH YOU?

Of course we do! We have life jackets from 3 - 70 kg plus. Something for everyone!

DO I NEED TO BE ABLE TO SWIM WHEN KAYAKING?

No, you don't need to. We have life jackets from 3 - 80 kg plus. Please let us know in the "Other information/requests" box at the time of booking if you need to borrow one.

DO I NEED TO BRING WATER, TOILET PAPER AND FIRST AID KIT WHEN I GO KAYAKING?

Yes, you will need it. There is no possibility to refill water at the campsite. Toilet paper and first aid kit are always good to have when you go out into nature.  

HOW SHOULD I PACK WHEN I GO KAYAKING OR CANOEING?

We recommend packing your personal belongings in waterproof bags. You will receive packing tips on site when it is time to leave. 

CAN THE CANOES SINK?

No, you don't have to worry about sinking when kayaking or canoeing, nor will the paddles sink if you drop one. The 2-seater Canadian takes 340 kg with packing. The 3-seater takes 400 kg with packing.

WE HAVE BOOKED FOR PICK-UP, WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DON'T MAKE OUR PRE-ARRANGED TRIP?

We know that things can happen on the road, you might stay too long admiring the beauty of the osprey. Contact us and we will find a new pick-up point.

CAN YOU FISH IN THE WATERS?

From Åkers Styckebruk to Gnesta is fine. However, keep in mind that there are two different fishing waters. Fishing licenses for Visnaren and Marvikarna are purchased at the exit point with Swish (QR code).

Klämmingen and Frösjön, at the northern end of Klämmingen is purchased with Swish (QR code).

WHEN CAN WE START KAYAKING (CANADIANS AND KAYAKS)?

If it is a one-day paddle, you start between 09.00 -10.00. If you are staying overnight, you start between 10.00 -11.00.

Åkers Styckebruk: 17.00.
Nykvarn: By appointment.
Gnesta: 16.00 -17.00 or by appointment.
Vagnhärad: 15.30 -16.30
Trosa: 14.30 -15.30
