WHEN CAN I CONTACT KANOTKUNGEN?

For requests in addition to the packages and families with children, please contact me.

DO I NEED A LIFE JACKET?

Yes! We provide life jackets from 3 to 70 kg plus.

DO YOU HAVE LIFE JACKETS?

Yes! We provide life jackets from 3 to 70 kg plus.

DO I HAVE TO BE ABLE TO SWIM?

No, we have lifeguard vests from 3 to 80 kg plus. Please notify me in the box ‘Other information/requests’ at the time of booking.

DO I NEED TO BRING WATER, TOILET PAPER AND A FIRST AID KIT?

Yes.

HOW SHOULD I PACK?

Put your personal packing in waterproof packing bags. You will be given packing tips on location.

CAN THE CANOES SINK?

No, and nor can the paddles. The 2-seater Canadian canoes can hold 340 kg with packing. The 3-seaters can take 400 kg with packing.

WE HAVE BOOKED A PICKUP, WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DON’T MAKE OUR PREARRANGED TOUR?

A new pickup location will be found.

IS FISHING PERMITTED IN THE WATERS?

Yes, from Åkers Styckebruk to Gnesta. There are two fishing grounds. Fishing permits for Visnaren and Marvikarna can be purchased at the starting point with Swish (QR code).

Fishing permits can be purchased with Swish (QR code) for Klämmingen and Frösjön, at the northern end of Klämmingen.

WHEN CAN WE START PADDLING (THE CANADIAN CANOES AND KAYAKS)?

For one-day paddling, you can start 9-10 am. If you are staying overnight, you can start 10-11 am.

WHEN DO I NEED TO BE BACK?

Åkers Styckebruk, at 5 pm
Nykvarn, by agreement
Gnesta, 4-5 pm or by agreement
Vagnhärad, 3.30-4.30 pm
Trosa, 2.30-3.30 pm
