GUIDED DAY TRIP MARIEFRED TO TAXINGE CASTLE

During July and August, TNT Sea Kayaking in collaboration with Kanotkungen organizes a day trip on
Lake Mälaren. The guided tour goes from Mariefred to Taxinge Castle also known as the "cake castle".

We arrange all transportation of kayaks and equipment to Mariefred.

Our experienced kayak guide will meet you in Mariefred harbor opposite Gripsholm Castle. We prepare
the kayaks and go through basic paddling techniques and inform about safety on the water.
Then we paddle off on a wonderful experience out through Gripsholm Bay towards Taxinge Castle. There
we take a longer lunch break / coffee break of about 2 hours before heading back to Mariefred. We
strongly recommend tasting the castle's delicious cake buffet. There is also time for swimming if you want.

The tour is suitable for both beginners and those who have previous experience in kayaking. The
is 12 - 15 km which means approx. 3-4 hours of active paddling. We are expected to be back in Mariefred
no later than 17.
